		A trip on Lake Mälaren in Thoresta´s own boat With our boat you will be able to come out on the lake on a short or long trip. Up to 12 persons can stay on board comfortably. Here you can e.g. enjoy a liquor tasting or why not combine your stay at Thoresta with a lovely moment on Lake Mälaren´s calm water. You board from the landing-stage at Båthuset beyond the Manor or we will pick you up in the city of Stockholm. We also arrange trips from Stockholm to attractive destinations in the archipelagos of Stockholm and Mälaren.
		“Classic Swedish events” on Härjarö For those of you having a conference at Thoresta we offer an arrangement where you will experience Mälaren´s and Härjarö´s nature reserve during a few entertaining and “speedy” hours. The activity starts on Thoresta´s landing-stage from where you are transported in a ribcraft at 50 knots over Björkö bay out to Härjarö. There one or two of our Classic Swedish events await you, such as volleyball, football, golf-football, miniature golf, ´varpa´, Discgolf, boccia, and “Kubb”. Back to Thoresta we take a boat or a bus. This activity can be combined with outdoor cooking at Härjarö´s nice camping ground or a delicate lunch or dinner served by the camp fire.
		RIB Speedboat You surf faster than on your computer and you get waves in your hair as well. In a RIB Speedboat you go up to 60 knots on Mälaren´s clear-blue water. These boats are designed to be used in extreme conditions and are waiting for you as a challenge at the landing-stage.
		Golf Thoresta is near two really excellent golf courses, Bro Bålsta Golf Club, and closest neighbour to Bro Hof Slott Golf Club, Sweden´s best golf course. Exclusively for guests staying overnight we offer a game of golf on these three courses.
		Hunting For our guests who has a hunting license we can now offer hunting, which not so many other conference centers in Sweden can. The hunt takes place with a guide as stealth hunting, beat hunting and hunting with dogs. The numbers of hunters are limited depending on the time of the year, weather, and supply of wild animals.
		Clay Pigeon Shooting On Thoresta we have clay pigeon shooting on our professional skeet- and trapshooting range. Apart from the fun of shooting clay pigeons, you will also receive instructions from experts in the noble art of shooting with a shotgun, an activity suitable for internal competitions with amusing follow-up discussions. It often turns out that those who never before have fired a gun are the winners.

		Båthuset At this place you can allow yourself plenty of time for togetherness and relaxations. Imagine a genuine Falun red house built right up to the water with access to a wood heated sauna on the landing-stage, an electric powered one, a heated outdoor Jacuzzi, and a 100m2 large wooden deck, everything in a secluded place. A modern kitchen, bedroom/attic, and room for a conference with up to 12 persons with all modern conveniences available. Go fishing for a while in the evening, take a dip, paddle a canoe, make your own team building activity, or why not try water-skis.
		Operation something quite different Like most people you must have dreamt – since the sandpit at your nursery school – of operating a real excavator or a huge truck? During this activity we will be children at heart. We dig with a new 20 ton excavator loading and unloading. We guarantee this is a completely different activity, even if you have done everything before.
		Thoresta Challenge Divided up into teams you will compete against other teams on the domains of Thoresta. Every team gets a backpack with tools, a Polaroid camera, a map, and a book with questions and problems to solve. After a run-through of the rules with the teams we pep them up before the starting shot. Now it is important to cooperate, plan, coordinate, take initiatives, and have fun within the teams and to solve as many tasks as possible.
		Excursions nearby We will be happy to arrange an excursion with picnic lunch to the ancient remains at Rösaring. It is only a few kilometers away and there you will find Sweden´s oldest stone circle in the form of a maze.
		Excursions on your own Visit Skokloster castle, Lasse Åberg´s Museum at Bålsta, Härkeberga church with paintings from 15th century by Albert Pictor, Linné´s Hammarby, Sigtuna or Hjälstaviken´s bird sanctuary.
